Help a family with 7 children in Gaza survive displacement and starvation

Hello, my name is Celine Rameaux. I’m a mental health worker and trauma informed yoga teacher living in Naarm/Melbourne Australia.

I’m organising this campaign on behalf of Rahaf (17) and Raghad (13) in Gaza. They have 4 younger sisters, Injy, Fatima, Leen and Hanan and a younger brother Mohammad. Together with their parents they have been displaced 4 times since the start of the war and are currently living in a tent.

I have been in frequent contact with Rahaf since January 2025 and have met Rahaf and her family on video call.

Both Mohammad (3) and Rahaf’s father have gotten injured, causing Rahaf’s father to be unable to provide for his children. Rahaf & Raghad have taken it upon themselves to gather donations online and I am asking for your support in helping them. The money raised will be used to buy food and treatment for Mohammad’s burn scars, as burn scars on small children need ongoing treatment as the child grows.

This is Rahaf’s & Raghad’s message:

Our names are Rahaf (17) and Raghad (13). We are the oldest two siblings in a family of 9. Together with our 5 younger siblings and our parents we live in a tent in Gaza. We are trying to survive day by day amidst war, fear and hunger. During the start of the war our house got bombed, we fled and have been displaced four times since. During this period my father injured his leg and my brother injured his arm. Despite my father being sick and injured he goes out every day searching for food for us. We have no income and we are trying to survive through donations, to buy bread, food and medicine. Our little brother needs treatment for his burn scars. Since the start of the war we have been doing the impossible to keep us alive; sending messages, sharing photos and asking the world for help. We are a big family and the donations we receive are not enough for all nine of us due to the scarcity and high prices of the food and medicine here in Gaza. We have dreams to return to school and live in a safe home, to have enough to eat and not to be afraid of tomorrow. We create this page because we believe our voice can reach you. We believe that there are kind people in this world who can lend us a helping hand. Please help our family. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
